We
will meet at the top of Exit A, and walk up Qiaochengdong Road,
where we will turn west into Overseas Chinese Town. Highlights
will include an open-air market and Wal-mart, as well as OCT's Bar
Street. We will eat at a Western-style coffee shop near
Wal-Mart, and end up by the He Xiangning Art
Museum. Some
members may choose to stay and visit the museum; others may head for
HuaqiaocCheng Station or take a bus home.

at the front gate of Xian Hu (Fairy Lake) Park at 1 p.m.;

20 yuan /Non-members 30 yuan; plus 20
yuan Park entry fee for all)
This tour will be unlike any we've ever done before! James
studied for a PhD in Buddhism, and a large part of his studies was
learning about the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, their imagery and
stories. On this tour, James will present more of a formal lecture
than he has in the past, telling the stories of each of the major
figures in the temple. Participants will also be invited to share
what they know to make this a full, rich experience for everyone.
We may stay afterward for dinner in the temple's restaurant.
Bring 4 yuan for the shuttle bus inside the park (2 yuan each
way). Those who do not know how to get to Fairy Lake Park may write
to James for details.

eastern Shenzhen.

旅行:弘法寺，下午1点-4点。在仙湖公园前门下午1点集合；（活动费用：LB会员每人20元/非会员每人30元；另加每人20元的公园门票费）
这次游历将不同于以前的任何一次！James曾进修佛学博士，他对于佛菩萨及其肖像和故事做了大量的研究。在这次游历过程中，James将奉献一堂比以住更为正式的演讲课，讲述寺里每一尊重要塑像的有关故事。参加者们也会被邀请分享他们的相关知识，使得大家都有一个充实、丰富多采的经历。之后我们可以留下来在寺里的饭馆用餐。
带4元钱好乘坐公园里的往返巴士（单程2元）。那些不知怎么去仙湖公园的人可以写信给James寻问详情。
地点：仙湖公园弘法寺，在深圳东面稍远的地方。

Laughing Buddha takes a break!
From January 23rd to February 10th, the Laughing Buddha will
discontinue activities in honor of the Chinese New Year. James and
Lila will do some traveling during that time, and also some planning for
activities in the "New (Chinese) Year." Watch for
announcements!

从元月23日至2月10日，The Laughing Buddha在庆祝中国农历新年之际将暂停活
