Sunday, September 4: Family Event: End-of-Summer Picnic, Zhong Shan Park, 1-6 p.m. (free for all)
Bring a picnic lunch, drinks, and your family and friends! Come to the Park Gate on Zhong Shan Gong Yuan Road at 1 p.m. If you arrive later, follow The Laughing Buddha signs! Or call 136 5231 9985 for directions to our place within the park. Games in the early afternoon; around 4 p.m. James will lead a walking tour to the Guan Gong Temple and Xinan Ancient City.

Directions: Take Bus 204 (and many others) to Nan Tou stop, kitty-corner from the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store at Shennan and Nanxin Roads in far western Shenzhen. Walk EAST to Zhong Shan Gong Yuan Road (the signal) and turn left (NORTH). Walk until you see the Park Gate with a view of the small lake beyond. (Do not mistake the East Gate of the Old City—a sort of Great-Wall-looking thing—for the Park Gate).

自带午饭和饮料,同时欢迎带上你的家人和朋友! 1点在中山公园路的公园门口集中. 如果你来晚了, The Laughing Buddha留下了路线记号,你可以根据它们找到我们! 或者拨打136 5231 9985 询问如何到达我们所在的地方. 首先我们会玩一些游戏; 然后到4点左右, James 将带领大家参观关公庙和西南古城.
路线指示: 坐204路公车 (或其他的) 到南头站, 深南路和南新路交叉的沃尔玛旁边的商店,向东走到中山公园路(路牌)然后转左 (北). 继续走就能看到公园大门了,旁边有一个小湖. (注意不要搞错了,公园大门口不是看起来象长城的古城的东门).
