Shenzhen International

Sunday, December 18: Tour: Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo (Yuan Bo Yuan)  10 a.m.-3 p.m. (Fee: LB Members FREE /Non-members 10 yuan; entry fee for the Expo is 50 yuan.)
The Garden Expo is one of Shenzhen's best-kept secrets!  There's more than you can see in a day: Garden installations from all over China (and the world), with bridges, pavilions, towers, ponds, waterfalls, monumental stones--and of course, plants and flowers!  Photographers, bring your cameras.  There is also a lot of signage in Chinese, so Chinese friends can help foreigners to understand what the signs say.  It's also a great chance to discuss Chinese culture, as there are reproductions of many of China's most famous scenes (such as Hangzhou's West Lake).
