Lessons in Everyday English

Wednesdays

These lessons are designed for students who want to learn the skills for basic communication with foreigners. Topics such as greeting and introducing others, telling time, and discussing the weather will be covered in an entertaining and lively format. There will be lots of fun exercises and practice to help students learn. For beginners.

TIME: All meetings begin at 7 p.m. After more than one hour of organized activities, we will open up for Question and Answer and Free Conversation, finishing at 9 p.m.

DISCUSSION LEADER: James will be leading all of these lessons and discussions. He holds a dual Bachelor degree in English and philosophy, as well as a Master of Education degree, and is nearing completion of a PhD. He has been a teacher and trainer since 1981. In that time he has taught in three countries, and his students have included everyone from Kindergarten kids to presidents of multinational corporations. He is currently a professor of English at Shenzhen Polytechnic, and has led hundreds of workshops, salons, classes, and private lessons in Shenzhen since February of 2004.
