  • October 1: A funny article was written by our pal Justin about the Colin Brewer concert and James' transformation into The Laughing Buddha, in the Hong Kong Standard.

September, 2005

In our first month of operations, we had two of our announcements placed in the Shenzhen Daily, Shenzhen's only English-language newspaper, where we were also were mentioned in one article.  And a photo of one of our events was in the Shenzhen Economic Daily, a Chinese-language paper.  Not bad for a new enterprise!

  • September 26: We were prominently mentioned in an article (HTML version) in the Shenzhen Daily titled "Expatriate clubs springing up in Shenzhen." (PDF version Page 1 Page 2)

  • September 23: An announcement (PDF) was placed in the Shenzhen Daily for our concert with Colin Brewer (pics page).  

  • September 18: A pic (PDF) of our "Happy Birthday Shenzhen" Party by our friend Mr. Zhang was placed in the  Chinese-language Shenzhen Economic Daily. You can see more of his work on our pics page for that event.

  • September 2: An announcement (PDF) was placed in the Shenzhen Daily for our very first event, the End-of-Summer Picnic (pics page).
