Welcome to the "Survival Kit" for Shenzhen Expats!

From time to time we hear of other groups serving the needs of Expats in Shenzhen.  Some of them are listed below.

Each heading below offers links to off-site resources or entries in the LIFESiZE blog.  More Shenzhen information can be found by checking the LIFESiZE Homepage.  If you are a regular visitor to LIFESiZE, your best bet is just to check the blog occasionally.

Clubs: Groups that organize activities for Expats (and friends)

  • The Laughing Buddha: Hey, that's us!  Yes, we do organize tons of activities.  Visit our monthly calendar for more information.

  • YPHH Happy Networking: - YPHH organizes Happy Networking Events in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, China; a great way to speak with (potential) clients, meet new business partners & get insightful information about your competition.

  • The Shekou Hash House Harriers: Described as "the drinking club with a running problem," they organize runs and drinking bouts around Shenzhen.  Visit their MSN Group or signup on the Snakepit page.

  • The Shekou Women's International Club: "SWIC is a social club open to membership for all expatriate ladies living in Shekou and the surrounding areas."
